'Mood Mapping', 2006.

Herringthorpe Junior School, Rotherham.

Gillian was lead artist, working with two emerging artists on placement, Louise Atkinson and Matt Lewis.

The project, using the school and its environment, explored ideas of how places evoke emotions and how different materials can be used to create a visual language to describe these emotions. This was done through the creation of site-specific installations, which were documented through drawing, writing, photographs, video, audio interviews and the creation of maps.
