Gillian has undertaken public art commissions throughout the country, creating permanently sited sculpture, artworks and street furniture in communities, schools, youth centres and parks.
The commissions have all engaged the people of the locality in the design and construction, so that they have ownership of the art placed in their neighbourhoods.
She has works in the public realm in Batley, Bolton, Bristol, Buckinghamshire, Doncaster, High Peak, Leicestershire, London, Nottingham, Rotherham, Scunthorpe and Sheffield.
