Gillian is one of five Associate Artists who work with the Learning Team at Nottingham Contemporary, developing and facilitating workshops, resources and long term projects that engage people with the gallery’s exhibitions, encouraging discussion and creative responses in a variety of media. She has worked at Nottingham Contemporary since it opened in 2009.
She works with primary, secondary and special schools, young people including NEETs and Young Offenders, adults including refugees and asylum seekers, ESOL, people with dementia and people with mental health issues. She develops exhibition notes and resources for schools and groups for each exhibition.
