The sculptures include integral ‘plinths’, yet they don’t sit on them, they project from them, hovering above, pulling away, using them for weight and balance, both physical and visual. The smaller pieces sit on steel table plinths which raise them up and offer an alternative material mass to react with those in the sculpture.
